Use of MatriDerm® (skin substitute) and split skin graft in one stage in wound healing of exposed tibia without periosteum in two patients

چکیده

Reporting two cases one of centimetres breadth and the other four exposed tibia bone devoid periosteum due to post debridement involving elevator remove infective tissue which was successfully covered by a simple procedure with MatriDerm® split skin graft in single stage. Tibia not drilled sprout granulation from marrow create granulated vascularised bed for second-stage grafting. It avoided local flap or microsurgical free surgery small periosteum. Both had pleasing aesthetic outlook after few months follow-up. Difficult find instances more than stage this procedure.
